Through New Lenses....

Have you ever felt like you’re following all the right steps—achieving goals, sticking to routines—and still felt something was missing? That’s exactly how I felt recently, and it sparked a reflection I want to share. It all started with a conversation I had with a friend. Out of nowhere, I asked her, “So, what are you doing with your life these days?” Without missing a beat, she replied, “I’m just getting bored.” I wasn’t shocked. Even when we follow our routines and hit our targets, something can feel empty inside. Around the same time, a group of friends nearby caught my attention. They were talking about their "adventures," which, to be honest, weren’t anything extraordinary—just the small, everyday moments that many might overlook. Yet, they were full of excitement and claimed to have no regrets. It made me wonder: How is it that someone living a structured, balanced life feels something’s missing, while others—seemingly "just chilling"—are finding joy in the...

Reflections on Life’s Journey...

Image
Recently, I celebrated another birthday, which always prompts me to think about not just the passing of time, but also how the people who share these milestones with me evolve. It’s intriguing how birthday wishes can subtly highlight changes in relationships and personal growth. I felt it was a good time to pause and reflect, as the saying goes:  change is the only constant . Life is a continuous journey, marked by various phases—childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and aging—each representing a unique station on our path. As we navigate these different phases, the relationships we build and maintain become integral to our experiences and growth. At these stations, people come and go, each leaving their mark on our lives. Embracing these transitions allows us to appreciate the diverse experiences that life offers and the impact each person has on our journey. Reflecting on childhood, our family is often our whole world. I fondly remember how my parents provided unwavering suppo...

The Art of Genuine Connection in the Digital Age

Image
As we find ourselves well into 2024, it’s astounding how swiftly time seems to fly. If you’ve been keeping up with my blogs, you might recall my New Year’s resolutions from earlier this year. If not, you can check out my previous post, "Headed into the New Year Like…” and see how I’m faring with those goals. But let’s shift our focus from resolutions to something that affects us all: genuine human connection in our digital world. In our hyper-connected age, it’s easy to feel more isolated than ever. Our days are spent navigating a constant stream of notifications, scrolling through social media, and crafting our online personas. It’s as though we’ve become so engrossed in the  digital whirlwind  that we’ve lost sight of what truly matters—real, meaningful connections with those around us. Remember the excitement of the monsoon season, especially when it meant the start of a new school year? The smell of rain on the pavement signaled fresh beginnings, and reconnecting with frie...

Chapter 1

Image
Recently, one of my blog reader asked me why I haven’t posted any other blog after my first one. And yes, it’s true! Actually, I had many drafts ready, but I was just a little bit confused, or maybe insecure, about the topic of the blog. You know, it happens sometimes that you have a lot to tell, but you don’t know where to start. But still, we manage to express our thoughts somehow, and thus here I am!  After giving a lot of thought to the topic for my new blog, I gave up on thinking and started doing my regular routine, like watching series, lectures, college submissions, etc. Oops, the list will go on and on. And here comes the most interesting part of this story. Firstly, I have a question for you guys. Does it ever happen to you that you were listening to some random playlist and suddenly that one song pops up which reminds you of some particular time of your life? Of course, it does happen a lot of times with us. Didn’t they say, ‘ Music is the strongest form of magic ’...
