Chapter 1

Recently, one of my blog reader asked me why I haven’t posted any other blog after my first one. And yes, it’s true! Actually, I had many drafts ready, but I was just a little bit confused, or maybe insecure, about the topic of the blog. You know, it happens sometimes that you have a lot to tell, but you don’t know where to start. But still, we manage to express our thoughts somehow, and thus here I am!

After giving a lot of thought to the topic for my new blog, I gave up on thinking and started doing my regular routine, like watching series, lectures, college submissions, etc. Oops, the list will go on and on.

And here comes the most interesting part of this story. Firstly, I have a question for you guys. Does it ever happen to you that you were listening to some random playlist and suddenly that one song pops up which reminds you of some particular time of your life? Of course, it does happen a lot of times with us. Didn’t they say, ‘Music is the strongest form of magic’? And we have witnessed it many times. While completing my assignments, I was listening to a random playlist and that one song played which reminded me of my childhood days. Oh god! how happy I was then. No worries about career, just being ourselves, not responsible for anything, just go to school, complete your homework, and play all day. We used to get summer vacations during those times. Those were the days!

But now, being a grown-up, we don’t even get summer vacations, or maybe we don’t deserve to take a break because we have “so-called” responsibilities. This is how being in your 20's is! Sometimes it really sucks. Suddenly you are 20, and everyone wants you to be mature, responsible, and we are not even complaining about it, but life happens the way it is. One day we want to win the world, and the other day we just want to lay on the bed all day. One day we want to talk to everyone around us, and the other day we just want to vanish to some quiet place. Isn’t it weird? Why does it happen, have you ever wondered? Have you ever felt the way like damn “I miss the older version of myself”?👀

Well, well, well, it happens. It happens with everyone at some point in time. It’s okay to take a break and do as you please. If you don’t feel like going somewhere, then don’t go. If you don’t feel like talking to anybody, then be quite for sometime. If you don’t want to work, then do some other thing which will make you happy. If you don’t feel like studying, then go for a walk, watch series, movies, listen to music to refresh your mind. It's totally fine to do so! Sometimes it can feel like what are we even doing in our lives, following the same routine every day, and it’s okay to feel that way, but how to deal with it is really important.

We should realize that it’s totally normal to feel this way. In today’s fast-paced era, we are always working to achieve our goals, and competition is always there. But you know what, our biggest competitor is ourselves. No one knows us better than ourselves. And to come back with great eagerness, we should start with a fresh mind. It’s our right to live our life the way we want. Even machines require a break, then why can’t we? At the end, we are just humans. Sometimes things may seem difficult, but in the end, you’ll get through it. And remember, you’re just in your 20s, so it’s okay to not have things figured out. You'll still manage to fulfill your bucket list somehow. So cherish today, live life to the fullest, because LIFE GOES ON!✌
